God's Will

Yesterday, Justin and I signed and sent all the closing documents for the sale of our house. It was so exciting to be finally at the end of this whole thing. Then my realtor called and said that the buyer has been showing signs of having 'cold feet'. They weren't sure if he was going to show up at the closing today. Justin and I did a lot of praying, and decided that either way, we know God is in control and He has a plan. Today my stomach was in knots all day long, until we finally got the call at 3pm: "he's not going to show up at the closing". I couldn't hide my disappointment. This guy went through the whole process and waited last minute to back out. We put money into the house to have it meet his expectations, and although we can technically afford to pay the mortgage and all that, it's going to take much longer for us to pay off our debt. And, of course, we can't purchase another home until this one is sold. It's all very frustrating. But, we have given it to God, and we know that it is His will. Even though we may not understand right now, this is part of His plan.

In the meantime...anyone want to buy a house?
