Justin has been working like crazy lately. Saturday he worked a 10 hour overtime shift. Then Sunday night, they called him in an hour early. He worked a full shift at night and a full shift into the next day. He ended up working 20 hours, most of that being time-and-a-half, and a few hours of double time. What's nice about it was that he didn't have to work Monday night, but got paid for it anyways. And that left Tuesday completely open for us.

So we decided to take Cora to the Providence Children's Museum. We picked up free passes at the library. They had a big cow thing carved out of wood, and we could barely keep Cora off the thing. She loved it! She kept screaming "cow!"

They had a section where you could draw, and lots of different rooms to explore. Cora loved the waterroom. It has lots of floating colored balls in these big things of water with waterfalls and levers that make water come spewing out of tubes and stuff. Justin was playing with the tubes and made it so the water would come out close to Cora, and instead it hit her right in the face. Which is why she is looking at her daddy with a furrowed brow in one of the pictures on here I posted. They also have a small outdoor playground. A mounted cop came walking through the parking lot on the other side of the fence and I thought Cora was going to have a heart attack, she was so excited, screaming "horsie!"

I really think our

kid is animal crazy. Which is not a bad thing at all. It gives me relief, actually, that she inherited something from me. It's so funny how as she gets older, we can see how much she is like us, and how much she is her own person.
